Over 100 years of history
The company's history began in 1923, when Guido Nannini and Giovanni Bei, having met through their respective work and becoming friends, decided to take the plunge together, founding a coffee company called "Società Lucchese del Caffè - Bei & Nannini Snc." Christopher Columbus's caravel was the chosen symbol, and it remains the "Bei & Nannini" brand today; that idea reflected their resourcefulness, their dreams, and their desire to succeed. The founders' sons—Ciro and Osvaldo Bei, Giuseppe, and Franco Nannini—continued working together until the 1990s. Today, Guido Nannini, Franco Nannini's son, manages the company. For us, coffee has always been an art, where trained eyes and refined palates always manage to bring out the best in our blends. That's why we've always sought out the finest quality wherever we found coffee that met our customers' tastes.
Our values
Our blends are created with coffee from all over the world. For this reason, it's extremely important to us to maintain direct relationships with our suppliers and to show our customers the origin and provenance of our coffee.
"Gran Miscela Colombo®" has delighted the palates of many coffee lovers and made its trademark, featuring the caravel of the famous Genoese navigator, a highly successful symbol in Italy and abroad. Even today, Gran Miscela Colombo® can be enjoyed in many establishments, both in Italy and abroad.
We store coffee beans according to their origin, then roast them using a traditional slow roasting method, following our age-old recipes. Each step is meticulously monitored by our staff, ensuring the quality of the coffee remains intact once it reaches our customers. Every single raw material we use in the production process complies with the quality and safety standards required by national regulations.
